    Vsp

Is VSP MESSA now Signature? I ask because a family of 5 came in the other day . They had VSP Signature MESSA. ALL BUT 1 went through fine. We had an issue with 1 member. We use Eyefinity (for those of you familiar all green skitttled but 1 he got a red skittle)

It’s frustrating. But the question remains (remember newish to Career). MESSA used to require another authorization, is it different now?

Here's their page on it in the VSP "Manual"

    https://doctor.vsp.com/idrs/html/Tab...hoice&state=pa

Not sure if that helps. I have never had a patient with this plan. The VSP site has been having more issues since they rolled out the new eclaim crap. It crashes from time to time and now some things are going haywire when we try to submit claims. Chose a B tier AR coat for a patient (it's even under the B in the dropdown menu) and when we printed off the packling slip and service report it said AR C. I go through and double check everything before submitting a claim. I don't get it.

If this is about Modern eclaim-

It seems to be unavailable these days.
Roll out in 2nd Quarter 2022 whenever that is.

    Log in to VSP Online.
On the left column news look for Modern eclaim article

Are you looking at the 2 letter code on the bottom of the service report?
Cat B should be code QN
if Cat C code QT is printed that's what they're charging and it doesn't matter what you entered.

What exactly was the AR? I don't use Cat A or B AR's.
