    Is it good practice?

I had someone come in with glasses the other day, the following prescription
    OD - Right(SPH) +0.50(CYL) -0.50 Axis 75
    OS - Left(SPH) +0.50(CYL) -0.50 Axis 102
    with an index of 1.61

the lenses were crafted to be closer to the pupil on the interior, bowing towards rather than away from the eye (which I've never seen), causing all sorts of reflection issues for the wearer

    Is this good practice?

    For me?

    Yes.

    Send them to me.

I specialize in fixing bi-convex lenses in that power.
