In house dip or spin coating

Does anyone here use an in house dip or spin coating systems?
Can it be used to apply a tinted hard coat to polycarbonate lenses?

Never heard of a tinted hard coat it is probably possible but you would need a dedicated machine as the tinted coating would be difficult remove from the coater. Why not get pre colored poly or use a softer coating that will dye easier. Not curing as long as recommended will allow more dye to penetrate the coating. You can also coat your lens tint it then use a sponge buffer on the surface (it removes the surface tension)and coat it again and tint it for a second time.

we have used deep coating systems with tintable hard coat + primer for many years, they also work on poly but in recent years we have completely abandoned poly in favor of Trivex and 1.6 (colored and not colored)
