    Edging an Aspheric/Hyperocular (?) lens

    Sorry, not 100 percent sure on the terminology. We have an old AIT Maxima edger. The lens is one of those fried egg looking lenses. Any special care in cutting it? Pretty sure it's a balance lens, I'm cutting it for someone else. Just block it and go? extra pads?
