Help needed for GT2 sub w/ Hoya or Essilor similar design

Eye Med patient past history of design sensitivity.

Originally Rodenstock then Life 2C progressive in 2000 then 2006 GT2 or GT2 short since.

I'm looking for suggestions of an Essilor or Hoya, Eye Med approved, similar design. Tier 2 preferred.

It's tempting to say that since I cannot get Zeiss she's stuck and will have to private pay but that will be something we'll talk about after I hopefully hear suggestions from you guys.

    Thanks

I tested the gt2 and physio side by side- both had a wide distance field with a moderately long corridor, and very good refinement and visual comfort. A nod to the physio for better night/mesopic vision.

My go-to EyeMed lens for this kind of situation is a Shamir InTouch. It's Tier 3, though.

In the prem tier 2 I don't think anything beats Comfort/DRx, but I would go with Robert and up to tier 3 for Physio/DRx. It was a contemporary design with the GT2 and my problem-free premium workhorse design for nearly a decade.

I'm still baffled from time to time when a customer has inexplicable challenges with the best modern digital designs, and then for lack of alternative I refit them back into a traditional grinder Physio or Comfort and everything is right with them. I think some brains psychically detect progress and just instinctively recoil.

    Thanks for the replies.

Dispensed today a good ol' Younger Image.

    Initial reaction positive!

    Time will tell.
