At IMAGINE Optometry, we are looking for an Office Manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Office manager's duties and responsibilities include the day-to-day activities of running an optometry office while managing a staff of three.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Schedule patients for exams
  • Enter patient’s information into our EMR (electronic medical record) in preparation for the exam
  • Provide other front office support like scanning & shredding documents, answering questions, pulling authorizations from insurances and etc.
  • Assist patients in frame selection
  • Facilitating payment after services are completed
  • Billing and placing orders for patients
  • Knowledge of VSP and Eyemed vision insurance plans
  • Depending on candidate’s desire to learn, the opportunity will be given to train them on utilizing instruments such as the auto-refractor and lens neutralization prior to exams and/or taking measurements for ordering glasses

Availability to work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:30 AM-5:30 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM.
