Hello all. I have some questions about Satisloh machines and grinding ceramics. I am a student who is working part time so I'd like to learn from you experienced guys. My questions are below. I appreciate answers for any of these questions. Thank you.

1. I want to grind a flat ceramic part to 0.6 mm. Diameter is about 65 mm. How can I produce very flat surfaces? I need to grind both two surfaces. I cant use wax/cementing. Vacuum seems suitable but I am not sure if it is precise enough. How should hold the workpiece?

2. How accurate/precise are the Satisloh/Loh machines (Spm-200 especially)? Can I produce super flat and thin parts with it? 0.005 deviation in 50 mm for example.

3. How reliable/accurate is measuring probe of the machine? It measures different values at the same spot. Sometimes the differences are up to 0.003-0.004 mm.

Thank you.
