Luzerne Optical - the once mighty?

We're looking for feedback on Luzerne Optical. Not a rant here. We've done everything to support them and their independent positioning for decades, but it's now obvious that there's consistent room for improvement. Work speed and quality have concerned us long before COVID existed. So we're wondering - Can Luzerne regain the commanding foothold in the market that they once held? We owe a great deal to their contributions to our industry, and to us as well, and we want to see them continue to succeed. Constructive replies are welcome!

I wonder about the likes of FEA as well. Similar story, if a bit smaller than Luzerne of course. Apple seems to the the new king for independents, at least broadly speaking. Sadly, the market hasn't been kind to many smaller labs and independents.
