Poly Lens Look sand blasted after edging

I have noticed that all my poly lenses after they have been edged look sand blasted all around. If we do poly super hydro it does not happen. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to avoid this from happening? How do you wash your lenses after you edge them? Do you dip them in a ultrasonic cleaner? Please help.
    thank you,
    Jose

please post a photo, the lenses with these problems are only HC hardened? with what products do you raise them? is the phenomenon only concave or also convex?

Sand blasted, like it's covered in poly swarf? Or sand blasted like the coating has been blasted? Depending on what edger you're using, and given you're in California so I believe you have to dispose of poly differently, there may not be enough water hitting the wheel/lens during edging. But it depends on your edger. I would recommend lightly rinsing the lens off and see if that helps

You should be able to increase your water jet a little to help rinse the lens more during the edging process.

If its what I think it is, your Polish wheel needs dressing or replacing

its like covered in swarf but it sticks on the lens and it wont come off unless you really put pressure and then they get scratched. We figured it out, the edger needed to be cleaned. We had removed the hoses and removed a lot of swarf from them. I am thinking of not recirculating the water anymore and attach it to the water line.

Thank you all so much! really appreciate all your comments.

I've seen problems associated with cutting plastic lenses after glass ones while using a recirculating system. It's better to edge with clean water.

Clean your water with 10 gallons coffee filter to avoid getting the plastic dust in the water stream.
