Business or personal?
On business I'd think it would be included in you regular policy (fire, business interruption, inventory, etc). That is how my was when I had an independent business. Liability was a very inexpensive part of the policy. Unlike a pharmacist, we can seldom kill a patient. Make their life miserable perhaps, but few fatalities.
If you're looking for personal protection (good for you BTW), you should be able to get an umbrella policy added to your home owners or auto policy. You should be covered under your employers policy, but a policy of your own would be good peace of mind.
Thank you for the reply, yes personal protection. I was just curious if anyone or any of the optician associations had any specific recommendations for an agency. Otherwise, I will open a specialty insurance or business or professional liability insurance with my current insurance agency.
I did a quick search on the American Optician Association website and also my state association website but could not find anything.
Stay safe.
