Vaccine Eligibility for Iindependant Opticians (specificly Massachusetts)...

My doc worked diligently to get our office qualified as health care workers. The office got the covid-19 vaccine (Moderna's) a couple of weeks ago- but my wife was not an employee* and was denied. Our state's web site lists any number of similar professions but not specifically opticians for Phase 1 eligibility.

We have set up an appointment (@Fenway Park!) for next week so my question is has any Massachusetts independent optician had any problem getting a vaccine without being directly associated with a doctor?

* She is also an optician with OD's associated with her shop. We get a chuckle out of telling others how we met on a blind date. (True!)

I got my first shot at the beginning of the month; my second shot will be this week. There were some dirty looks because almost all the other people getting shots that day are over 75 (and I'm not), but the people giving the shots gave me no trouble.
