    OLD GUYS! Surfacing Textbooks Source?

Anyone remember the red surfacing bible from 30+ years ago?
I think there was also a blue one maybe?

Anyone know where someone might get their hands on one?

I don't think so - I think I have one of those floating around here someplace.
This was sort of a companion piece to the yellow covered finishing bible.
May even have been the same author(s).

    ;-)
This would have been in school.
In 1993 you had to drive your horse and buggy downtown to an old building 4 days a week for 8 hours + and actually attend classes.
During those classes you had to do all the theory and then all the actual practical application of that theory on real equipment.
Part of your study involved reading things called textbooks - one of mine (I'm 100% sure of it) was dedicated entirely to surfacing theory.
I think it also cost something like $80 in 1993.
I'm sure those texts had very limited runs and by now they have all but vanished from the Earth...
But always worth a try here where I know some other old timers hang around.
My goodness some even older than I am!

I found this going off of that book. This same author did a yellow covered finishing book.

John, you've sent me down a rabbit hole, and I'm very grateful.

I have the original Blue hard back copyright 1992 and keep it close to my heart. Even with decades of experience I refer to it frequently. I believe Dr. Brooks also published one on dispensing.

If anyone has it, this collection is now worth a pretty penny.
