    Shipping bottlenecks

Hey, with the Happy Holidays and the Vacci-Baccanalia happening at the same time, I think the logistical system (fancy word for UPS) is probably stressed to the max.

    Is it affecting your operations?

Look for a much larger disruption due to the massive nor'easter about to hit the DC-Boston corridor.

I love UPS. They get the job done in my neck of the woods. I would trust UPS to deliver my baby.

USPS on the other hand... I loathe. There is a reason the phrase 'going postal' is so relatable.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Its the Holiday Season, the time of Peace and Joy. Everyone and their aunties are shipping stuff to and from their homes and offices. Of course shipments get bogged down. We also have this weather thing that can slow down your precious cargo. Its been this way since Doc Tillyer was a baby.

Yup. Everyone except our local lab deliveries are affected. We are warning our CL direct ship patients that it could take 2 weeks and to let us know if they do not receive them in that time, we will track it. We have warned them too that the delay was due to covid and holiday, and now we are adding a winter storm to the mix so it could be longer. None of us should be surprised that we are getting this horrible storm since this is 2020 after all.

I love the USPS for who they are and what they do at an affordable price.

Must be nice to be so busy you can refuse service to customers like Fed Ex and UPS are currently doing- as well as them not having to go "the last mile" to increase profits.

[ “We’re really gridlocked all over the place,” a USPS manager in Ohio told the Post under condition of anonymity. Another carrier told the Post, “I don’t think anyone, including the post office itself, knows just how bad delays are.” UPS and FedEx recently began rejecting packages for some e-commerce operations, leaving USPS to pick up the slack. All this is happening during the busy holiday season and as more than 1 million mail-in ballots have been requested in the Senate run-off elections in Georgia. "]
