Looking for suggestions of brands that retail between $120 and $180

I am looking for a collection that retails in this area for our insurance only patients. We do not get a ton of these types of patients, but it seems we have a gap. We have bargain frames that retail at $80 (we keep them in drawers and don't advertise them) and then it jumps to around $230.

What are your favorite brands at this price point if any?

We do a lot of SD eyewear frames (formerly silver dollar) in that price point.

Do you mind if I ask what brands you carry in the higher end category? I am looking to bring in something new to our office that is good quality, not "made in china," with stylish and well thought out designs.

Etnia Barcelona for a splash of color and unique design.

Oliver Peoples for that retro look.

Silhouette for the minimalists and comfort

Gucci has worked well for us

Mykita handmade in Germany if you are looking for something outside of the China.

Charmant Aristar are on the plain side but awesome quality for the price. We recently picked up Liz Claiborne and Hugo from Safilo, both are in that price range and have been doing very good for us.

Ditto on Liz C, but we can't sell it as low as NAICITPO wants to hit.

We do alot of Safilo lines including Claiborne but I will mention they are having some major supply chain issues lately with many styles being backordered for months.

Safilo Adensco has taken over Aristar in our dispensary, they are great stainless steel frames and fly off the shelves, we retail for $170. Charmant Titanium Perfection frames and Blackfin frames are the titanium kings of our dispensary but they are outside the price range.

I got Adensco frames just because the rep was an old employee of mine, I can't keep them in stock, I did not expect that.

Tura has multiple lines that would fit within that price point - Titanflex is one of our bestselling men's lines and Humphrey's (they make both men's and women's frames, but we sell way more of the women's designs) is a solid line as well. We retail both at $150 (though Titanflex has some higher price models around $180).

You guys are a good bargain.

Adensco been berry, berry good, to me...But their ladies frames are...fugly.

Anyone noticed that there's a plenitude of inexpensive, good looking men's frames and for women, not so much? SEXISM!

Women have to (and will) pay more for the same thing. "That's just the way it is. Some things will never change. That's just the way it is. Aw, but don't you believe it..."

Yup us too, they are incredible for the price point! One could stock an entire budget optical with their stuff, they have it all. Also Windsor Eyes has decent low cost options, even lower than SD Eyes. Of course the king of low cost frames is Modern Optical, but the low end of those are pretty bad. Cheap, but eww.

What's your thought on manufacturers that have "book price" and then a different actual price to help with insurance? It always seems a little weird to me. Is any of that legit with helping with insurances? I'm asking because I thought SD was one of those companies.

I just checked our SD eyes catalog and didnt see anything about insurance pricing, but our rep has steered us towards some lines that are insurance friendly like the port royale, CLD, NRG. They've always been good to us and are good about having parts available, even discontinued stuff.

Superflex has a lot of frames that fit in that price point.

Hey, I just saw Adensco today, and I retract my statement about the women's frames. They've upgraded them nicely. Not a ton of styles, but several really good ones.
