Does anyone have any idea what may be the problem here? I originally thought the motor was bad but I replaced it and it still either doesn't spin at all, or it spins slowly at roughly a few hundred RPM. My lab is currently shut down. Thanks!

Fourteen of my family members (including: aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, grandparents...and a great uncle) are, or have been in optical and...that's just crazytown at Christmas
Not a lab man but it sounds like an electrical problem. Are the brushes contact ok?
Years ago I brought my motor to a place that reconditions them when the bearings started to scream. They were very impressed with how fast the Bosch motor was as they are basically a router motor.
