    Tired of Junk Mail??

I was calling my PO for another reason today and made a comment about the amount of junk mail I receive and found out you can opt out of the bulk mail.

You can mail a request in writing to:

    Mail Preference Service
    Direct Marketing Association
    P.O. Box 9008
    Farmingdale, NY 11735

Not sure how long until it stops, but if it cuts it down I am all for it!

Cindy, another thing you can do is to take any coupons etc, and place them inside of any self-addressed, postage paid envelopes, and put them back in the mail; and it doesn't have to be just their coupons, or ads, send them a discount from your local pizza shop, etc. that way they pay for the postage both ways! if they incur enohg of this sort of mail out cost, they may think twice about this marketing tool.

    Ranger,
I prefer the direct approach rather than the eventual one!:D

    But good idea!;)

Cindy, thank you for this valuable information, but will they take an unstamped envelope, or am I expected to foot the bill for the postage to tell them to stop sending me "stuff'?

Next time a telemarketer calls, ask them how many copies of Watchtower magazine they would like. Click.
