    Any one else having sporadic problems with Versant?

    I have several patients with the same plan that I can not file claims for. It is just saying member benefit not found. It is not happening with all of them though which is even more strange. So far no luck when calling just got hung up on after talking to 2 people and 45 minutes of waiting.

    They are terrible! Had to stop seeing those patients!

    Even worse was our practice. We moved location since October of 2019 and they still haven't changed our office address (yet our billing address was changed asap). Recently they've been sending every lab job and lab supplied contact lenses from their NewTownSquare Lab to a random patient's address and customer service says "we have no way of contacting NewTownSquare"...

    So now Metlife has bought out Versant? What does this mean. Better or worse?

    As far as I know, most Metlife plans contract with VSP. On the list of managed care discount plans, I'd say going from Versant to VSP is an upgrade in customer service at least.

    I have to assume MetLife bought Versant(Davis Visoin and Superior Vision) so they can dump VSP.
