Hoya Amplitude vs iD Lifestyle for low hyperopes?

Does anyone know much of a difference the iD Lifestyle truform design will make compared to the conventional Amplitude? Rx is +2.00 with a 2.50 add. I had a client today who's used to the iD lifestyle but wanted a cheaper option. They're of course two completely different designs. I hope all goes well...

Yeesh. Dropping down out of the iD Lifestyle is going to be rough. I hope your customer remembers that "cheap" means two things, usually both at the same time.

Well on the other hand, he has a very sedentary lifestyle, almost never leaves the house and barely reads. Should be okay, right?

He's a VERY happy customer. Same Rx but he says he can read better than before. Checked the fitting height on both the previous (24mm) and new pair (25mm) and they both match the pupil center. Anyone can explain this? There are very few scratches on his previous 2yo pair, AR coating is still pristine as well. Vertex distance and inclination are identical. All I can think of is that the amplitude's corridor is 1mm shorter than the lifestyle's. Would harder vs softer design matter as well?
