    Question suggestions/opinions on a PAL-ID

    do you have a favorite?


    looking to pick 1 or 2 up but was wanting some expert opinions... thanks in advance.

    Have an essilor one but never use it anymore. Easiest way to identify is with a pair of specs that are overplussed by about 2 diopters and looking under very bright lights.

    ive always used my eyes to see them.. and mostly still do.. however, ive found most if not all my lenses that have SILK ar or similar .... will cover the symbols,add and you CAN NOT see them...

    so , we did pick up the PAL ID2 ... so far its 75% to the good...

    any suggestions with SILK on progressives... would be helpful..thanks for the feedback,

    I use our Santinelli Ice-1200 blocker. If I adjust the contrast it highlights and magnifies most lens engravings and surface defects pretty well.

    Many may be surprised at what shows up with a UV Burton Lamp in a dark room.

    Especially the old basic progressives.
