Deadstock Frame Sales?

I've been doing independent consultation for a few years now, and, while I've been successful, a byproduct of that has been the accumulation of a few spare frames I've ordered for patients I've ended up stuck with for various reasons. Apparently Texas law has become stringent on where and how you can sell opthalmic frames, and, I'm at something of a loss as to how to unload them other than taking the dive into eBay, which I'm not enthusiastic about. Any suggestions on offloading my stuff so I don't take a total bath? I've got a few pieces of Lux, a few old CVs, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Brow, What Texas law are you talking about? Anybody can use the term “Optician”. A pulse isn’t even required. ( I know, I’ve checked)..

There’s no “optical police”, the only authority is the Optometry Board. As long as you don’t play doctor they won’t mess with you either.

I'm confused myself. In full disclosure, I've sold my own old sun and opthalmic frames to pawnshops and secondhand stores in the past. Pre-quarantine, I tried to sell some unused frames at different places around town and got a consistent response that a new law prevented them from accepting them. They were different, unaffiliated businesses so I've no clue what's going on.

There is no law other than stolen goods to keep you from selling your excess frames to a retailer or individual. But, keep in mind, selling retail so to speak yourself (ala eBay), you’ll make substantially more. retailers will give you sub pennies on the dollar for disco, unreturnable, unwarranted product. Heck, send me a pm with what ya got...Be prepared for an insulting offer...Ha!
