    Wiggling grooved rimless lenses

Checking in a new Modo grooved rimless job with very rigid hinges AND very thin temples that twist too easily vertically, causing the string to "jump" out of the groove near the top temporal corner and the glasses constantly become crooked. The frame design is suspect to say the least, but would a deeper groove or uniquely shaped groove help to secure the lenses and keep the glasses from twisting so easily when the temples are accidentally bumped?

do you have the original demo lenses? how does the frame behave with those?
    Groove width maybe too wide?

First off, why would your lab return this to you? From what you describe the issues is lens size and groove depth

The fix is to increase size aka circumference @ the edger by at least 0.5. Next groove depth needs to be increased to .6 or even as deep as .75. To avoid that unappealing "white ring" in the lens from the increased groove depth, use trivex or high index materials as poly will look horrible
