    Budget Frame Lines

    Hi,

Just wondering what you kind folks use for low end insurance frames. Mostly for Medicaid types of plans. I have used companies like Value, Capri, Clariti. Thought I'd network and see if there are some alternatives to add to the mix. Thanks!

I highly recommend Modern Optical. They will sometimes have additional discounts available if you order directly from their reps instead of on the website, as well.

I agree with Andrew. However, be careful of the lines you select. Some of the lower end have sizing issues from batch to batch, and many are injection molded.
That said, they are great to work with.
I bend light. That is what I do.

Some of these brands are available online and on amazon direct to consumers, would it make sense to use them when consumers can check around online. What's the difference between distributing these and distributing products for zenni optical?

Thanks for the input. I have tried most of the mentioned options. Seems like each company has a few duds mixed in with surprisingly decent frames in this pricing tier.

Regarding being able able to find these on Amazon; just tried, not there. Finding them online? You can find most frames online. The first frames that popped up on Amazon when searching for Enhance eyewear by New York Eye was Gucci, Coach, Oakley and RayBan.

The original question was pertaining to frames for Medicaid programs. Each state is different (not sure how Medi-Cal works theses days) but we are given a set amount for a frame and the client cannot upgrade. Just reaching out to see what some folks are having luck with these days. We also use these budget frames for value packages in our very low income neighborhood and it is extremely popular.

    Happy Holidaze to you all!
