    Removing tint from poly

Is it impossible to remove tint from poly without damaging the lenses? TIA!

Submerge the lenses in hot soapy water. I nuke a cup of water to almost boiling then add a little dish washing detergent.

IMHO If it is tint dark they will never come back 100% clear.

what kind of lens neutralizer have you used?

I've also used liquid dish soap (Dawn, etc) instead of neutralizer- works well in a tint unit around 205° F. I found it less likely to damage the lenses than neutralizer, and works well for removing a bit of tint.
