    Converting, well, *anything* to OMA

    Hello all

Does anyone have a solution for converting any file types to OMA?

I make frames, so I can generate lens shapes in just about any digital format imaginable, but I don't have a tracer so generating OMA files for remote edging is proving impossible.

It seems like it should be straightforward, but I've been stuck for a long time now. I'm not running a lab, so don't have any of the integrated systems. I'm hoping there's something out there.

I know similar questions have been asked in the past but I'm hoping that someone might have found an answer in the meantime, so please forgive me for asking again.

    Thanks everyone!

    Andrew

What do you need, gcode to OMA, svg to OMA, png to oma?

I have those and can create other conversion programs.

Wait, you have something that can go from gcode or svg to oma? Tell me more of this wizardry.

what about going the other way around? I don't really know too much about these things but i'm trying to get some people to load up shapes but they can't read OMA files? i thought it was the standard these days.

Yes, they have everything you need in the file shape, dbl, and unit of measure (mm) its fairly simple to produce an image (SVG, PNG, JPG) or machine / g code (NC).
