    VSP OON Claims - CMS 1500

    Hey guys - we have been submitting VSP OON via CMS1500 forms for years in behalf of our customers. We never had any issues until the past couple of months. Is anybody else having this issue? Is VSP not allowing us to claim for customers? Is it still CMS1500 form?

    We called and talked to several people and got the runaround. We did the secured claims dispute but it takes up to 90 days, so we're just trying to see if anybody else experiencing this problem with VSP OON process.

    I dont handle insurance claims but our office has not had any trouble filing VSP OON claims by mail.

    We also have not had any trouble filling paper claims VSP OON

    I have not had problems except for them attempting to talk the patient out of purchasing here. I created a questionnaire price quote form and it has been helpful. I basically explain the necessary ???'s.
    But I hate VSP!

    Yes! Same scenario, I am having the same problems and questions. I have called many times and got the run around. I guess I will have to quit doing the billing for my out network patients. Have they quit accepting OON billing? They are trying to squeeze out independent opticians! What can we do?

    How do you call VSP OON? I thought they cancelled the 1(800) telephone number.

    What kind of issues are you having? No payments?
    I have been noticing very very slow payments
