    Confused Glass Lenses

Any suggestions on what to do with aprox. 1000 plus clear Finished SV lenses of various powers in their envelopes? Hate to just throw them away.

Recycle them with all of your old beer bottles.

Find a lab still running glass lenses and see if they'll buy them from you. Getting anything by selling them is better than getting nothing by throwing them away.
There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.

Look up optician training programs that can use the lenses for teaching purposes.

Does anyone know if Green 3 glass is still available in either Flat top or Progressive? We have a die hard glass wearer and our usual sources are telling us that no one is making it anymore.. Just need to know definitively before we tell him the "bad news".
