Buying a used edger. What to check beforehand? LEX1000

We places the order for a MEI EzFit NoBlock, but for the meantime we have to buy another edger (something cheap) to keep up with the work.

I have a good offer for Nidek/Santinelli LEX1000 Express. No tracer and no blocker.
The edger looks ok from the photos, but I will check it in person before buying. It has 130 000 jobs to date.

What should I check before buying?
How many jobs can such an edger do, if services regilarly?

    Thanks for the help.

I'd bring a couple different jobs with you when you go to view the edger and ask if you can process them. One zyl, one metal and one nylor.

This could be silly question BUT, how is the frame shape determined with the MEI Ezfit? I've looked at all the videos and I don't see a tracer.

The EZFit NBL averages 8 pairs/hr. We use ours for SuperHydro ARs, drills, nylor, steps, specialty work, which does slow it down. Basic jobs, I can get about 15/hr, but I have other edgers for those.
I don’t run Santinelli edgers, so I cannot comment on its throughput. I would expect about 8 jobs/hr average for mixed jobs. Santinelli user are welcome to chime in.
I bend light. That is what I do.

Santinelli is good if the edger is in good shape.

you need a tracer like standard edgers.

but you not need a blocker anymore
