In addition to those on the Ray-Ban Clubmaster (which I'm seeing almost constantly these days), I've noticed a few other manufacturers are putting old-school, curved nosepads on their frames. Is there a benefit to this, or is it merely a "retro" thing? Does anyone actually prefer these, or are frame designers putting comfort secondary to aesthetics? Genuinely curious so I can be more conversant.
