    Nylor(supra)polorzed lenses

    Hi All,
Always kept away from putting these 2 together because of the lamination but cant persuade this customer to have a full rim
Do any of you guys do this? pretty basic Rx -1.50
I thought maybe a certain material? move the groove away?
    Thanks!
    Alan

Trivex or Poly. Film is near the front on these. Do a 33% or even a 50% groove and you should be fine. I have done this on IC Berlins and other in lines with no issues.
I bend light. That is what I do.

For -1.50 Trivex would be good. 1.60 might be overkill

If you care at all about your business, or indeed the future of our industry, don't buy from an essilor owned company like WLC... You know they have just bought Vision Express right?? On top of the various online retailers they already own. You're giving money to your own competition.

Anyway, from all the better quality manufacturers, trivex is usually cheaper than 1.6, or at worse the same price.

We get most of our polarised from Rawdon optical (based in Leeds) or Zeiss if the customer wants the very best.

You'll pay a little more than WLC but the quality, service and turnaround will be better.

Speak to Scott at Rawdon, he's the manager and a great guy.

I think nupolar technology is less sensitive to delamination due the film is inside the polymer.

Also I will go with trivex
