The Position

We are seeking an Optometrist who is interested in practicing full-scope eye care including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings (including RGP and specialty lenses), and medical eye care. Our office is well-equipped EMR system, OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Camera, etc. Technicians do all pre-testing, special testing, and I&R trainings. We are open Monday-Friday, no weekends!
The Position Requirements

  • Completed an Optometry residency with two to four years related experience
  • The ability to manage and co-manage basic ocular pathology with your colleagues ·
  • Experience and knowledge of standard and advanced contact lenses and fitting
  • Excellent communication skills and patient service
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Strong computer skills and EHR experience.
  • State of Washington Department of Health Optometrist License, and American Heart Association BLS/ACLS. Priority will be given to doctors with experience and/or desire to work with patients with optometric medical needs. Doctor of Optometry license in Washington State required and Past experience with of EMR system a plus.


Compensation

  • Compensation: $100,000 to $140,000/yr (depending on experience)
  • Other Benefits: Full Medical and Dental, two-weeks’ vacation, CE stipend, $5,000 moving cost allowance
