    PAL with 'Foggy Power Progression'?

    Rx:
    -1.00 SPH +2.50
    -0.75 -0.50 x095 +2.50
    PG PL VariluxPhysio Clr

    Frame:
    FOSSIL 6090. 48/22. round zyl.

    Pt complains:
No good progression of power. 'Foggy'.
Can see the power change as it transitions from one zone to the next. No clear comp. use, 2in window and read, tiny window.
    "Cloudy in-between zones".
Pt feels as if there is "No power 'flow'" and questions a "Lens Flaw?"

Custom measurements all good. PD's check out.
Plastic lenses, so Poly cannot be blamed for the "Foggy transition of power"
Sent lens back to lab for inspection of lens/material.
Lab says lenses are fine, nothing wrong with them.
    Pt insists lenses are flawed.
I have nothing to go on to justify re-make.

Any thought, comments, ideas on what "Foggy power transition" between zones could be...or means?

    Help?

    Thank you.

Lenses need to be checked with a mapper, it will see what the patient sees...

Look at the lenses through a slit lamp high mag. There may be an incomplete polish or bad scratch cote that to the pt would look foggy
