Hi everyone, I have a pt. that has been wearing an AO compact for years. I can no longer get that lens, which has been problematic in the past due to the differance in seg drop? Any suggestions?

Fit them in a modern lens, with correct measurements, tell them to wear them for two weeks. Done.
You can order short corridor digital lenses.
AO Compact is now under the Synchrony brand. Contact your Zeiss rep for details. In the meantime, there are multiple FF options available to fit PAL as low as 13-14mm. A much better option than the Compact, IMO. However, most FF options are 4 drop, not 2 drop. Hoya Amplitude is a 2 drop, as well, and may be an alternative. An upgrade is the Amplitude IQ.
I bend light. That is what I do.
