The job came in from the lab that way. Just making sure its ok i know that in a regular safety frame its not ok to have polished edges

Does it say that in ANSI? I've never thought about it before or heard anyone say that.

Dont know what it says in ansi but everywhere ive worked it was a given rule of thumb. Polished edges have a smoother surface. Not a very safe aspect in a safety frame in my opinion

You seem to be rightly concerned about the end users safety. But you are willing to go by "rules of thumb" and the input of an anonymous internet forum? Why not consult the official document, or ask the lab, which presumably will have a copy of the official document on hand?
