Washing Lenses after surfacing??

This might sound dumb... lol How do I wash the lenses after surfacing them so they are perfectly clean like when i buy stock lenses? Do I need a special washer like the coburn step one lens washer? thanks, im new to this.

About 40 years ago I remember an old school optician who used a compressor with a nozzle attachment to air dry the lenses to prevent scratching. Never heard of or used it before or since but it worked great.

I've seen this used recently as well.... but prior to that they go into a bath and get scrubbed lol. This is before hard coat so any fine scratches are usually smoothed out.

PSI has or had a blower with 2 nozzles about an inch apart with a foot pedal, place the washed lens between them and turn it on. Presto clean and dry.
