Confused Bad starting experience with contact lenses, I would like your help! :(

Hello docs!I had a really bad starting experience with contacts lenses.. Sadly ;(
I wonder if you can help me a bit because I'm all perplexed..

I went to a store, they checked a bit but mostly let me train with putting contacts until the order will arrive.
She checked my eye shape I think but she took the number off my old glasses that I don't really use.
I received Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism 2 weeks and also a pack for daily (they got it by accident)
Now, I succeeded at putting it easily but I really had the worst experience because they are blurry at the sides most of the times, and I see annoying light reflections and overall its not really comfortable, sometimes it even burns. -I also think I don't see really that well but maybe that's just because of the lack of focus I feel, maybe something's wrong with the astigmatism?
Its kinda the same with the daily ones but a bit more bearable.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO..

The most important thing is that the optometrist should check whether the contact lens in your eye fits before you purchase it. if it doesn't fit go back and tell them your symptoms so that they can recommend what to substitute

As per the forum rules you agreed to when you registered:

"This forum is for Eyecare Professionals. Consumers are not allowed to post on the Board, although they can read posts and search topics."

All the professional Opticians on this site would love to help you solve your problems or answer your questions about your eye care and eye wear need! But vision and visual solutions can have thousands of correct as well as incorrect answers.

We care about your vision and visual needs so strongly that we must advise you to seek a professional in the eye care field. Only with in-person evaluation can you truly get a proper diagnosis. You PD and powers are simply not enough information to give you any kind of advice other than speculation. We are sure that you want the best in eye care, as we want for you. Please seek out someone that you can discuss your issues with in person.
