Chromatic aberration

Hey yall,

So with the current place i work at i can only order 1 type of Multifocal lens, but sometimes i get some people that come back to the store experiencing Chromatic aberration.
Iv'e had a friend of mine tell me that i could try and give S-0.25 but im not sure thats a solution.
Normally i would try and get a lower refractive index but i can't do that in my current workplace.
Iv'e put a trail frame on and the client said she was still experiencing it.

You guys have any tips or tricks to perhaps reduce Chromatic aberration without changing the refractive index or glass type?

A little panto and/or face form goes a long way.

I forgot to mention i already increased the panto, the second time she returned i did another eye exam and her acuity remains 20/20.
I know that after a while the issue sometimes resolves itself, she has the glasses for 3 weeks now and claims to be wearing them nearly all the time.

Lens type, no, zero. There is 1 type and thats what i have to work with. Both Single Vision and Multifocal
Material, some. I can request a different Refractive index varying from 1.5/1.6/1.67. But since the material already should be 1.5 (which i can't even see back in the orders), i can only assume it is.

And like Lensmanmd said, panto is the only thing i know of i can try.
Perhaps she needs more time with the glasses (since i did have clients before that said they needed up to 2 months before the chromatic aberration disappeared), i just wanted to give it a shot here since she is not the first one to complain about it and people here seem to be very knowledgeable.

You can request other materials, but you only get sent one material, and you don't know what that material is? Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I agree. That is not a good situation to be in. Not to mention odd.

Then it's not due to chroma if the trials are crown glass.

Double check the symptoms and supply more data.
