Wholesale Optical Lab seeking an outside sales account representative


  • Optical industry experience required
  • Business to business experience preferred
  • Responsible for various outside sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, qualifying new business pitches, preparation of sales materials and communications, account relationships, and other duties required to successfully manage and develop key accounts
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, communicative and consultative skills
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients to generate new business; qualifying potential new accounts
  • Leverage existing and past relationships with customers and vendors to generate business opportunities
  • Must be able to effectively train/communicate with opticians and optometrists on a daily basis
  • Some overnight/out of state travel required
  • Knowledge of CRM sales tool(s) preferred
  • Disciplined and results-oriented approach to selling and strong time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written & verbal communication required
  • Must possess valid drivers license
