Where's Chris?
Where's Chris?
It's not like him to disappear for 2 weeks! Hope all is well.
Agreed. I am approaching concern.
Hmm, must be on his boat somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle? The life of a successful retiree must be tough.
All kidding aside, I must say, not seeing anything from Chris has me concerned as well.
I’m wondering also. Something must have happened.
Maybe he decided to abandon us without saying good bye?
Nah... That just isn't his style.
Does anyone have any way of finding out about his current welfare or is it too soon to do that?
I’d expect he’s driving from Florida back to his home in Quebec at this time of year. However that’s usually only a 3 day drive.
Well wishes Chris. Hope to hear from you soon.
Yeah I actually miss him

There have been recent somewhat personal attacks. Maybe he's ******?

I just called both numbers... neither are in active service.
I have always appreciated Chris's OptiBoard input, especially when he railed early against the coming effect of internet sales and North American corporate domination of our optical industry. Many of his naysayers were ultimately proven wrong.
I too hope everything is fine with him.
We have seriously crossed the threshold for concern at this point. Has no one seriously heard anything?
I've been searching around without success. Short of calling his company and asking an employee where he is would be kind of weird?
This happened a few years back and turned out he had some unfortunate medical issues. As he is one of the most frequent experienced, smartest contributors, I wish him well and sure hope he's doing ok.
Hopefully we will hear from him soon.
Chris kept a pulse on the optical industry, both in the USA and Canada. His many predications and industry forecasts about future optical developments ultimately proved to be true, despite many naysayers. I too will miss him.
I think somebody should call his company at this point...
