Good afternoon guys
Myself and my colleague are wondering if we can phrase our discussions with first time varifocal wearers (particularly those of the hypermetropia persuasion)

Normally a patient who has never worn any correction for distance is faced with their first pair of varifocals, our normal advice is to push through and adapt. They currently feel like they do not have any problems with their distance vision but introducing a +0.75/+1.00 sph for the first time can lead to the patient feeling like their distance vision is better without than with at the start.

How do you guide your customers through their first steps with a new distance correction with a first time varifocal wearer?
