    Best California Vision Plans

We're exploring ways to grow the optometric/optical division of our ophthalmology practice. My focus has been on cash paying patients, VSP, and some EyeMed plans. We do well and have a great base of patients because the founding MD established the practice over 30 years but he's set to retire.

My plan for optical is to focus on driving in new patients for our staff optometrist.

Does anyone have recommendations for good vision plans in California?

Also, any marketing advise is welcome.

    Thank you, Lori

You really should not use the word "good" and "vision plan" in the same sentence.

If you do well, stay with what you got, and get another optometrist in to take over the patients of the retiring founder to take care of the retiring founders clients.

Stay away from the monster corporations as VSP and EyeMed (Essilor) unless you want to sell you soul.
