    Clear tintable polarized lens

Hi, does anyone know of a suitable source for tintable uncoloured/gray polarized polycarbonate or trivex lens?

    You've lost me with "uncolored/gray".

I always thought some tint is necessary to produce a polarized filter.

Polarized lenses are of the sandwiched type products that would probably dissolve the polaroide filter when dipped into a hot tinting solution.

I know of no manufacturer of polarized lens who will tint one. It's too destructive to the lamination.

we use deep coat (tintable hard coat) and then colored (10-15% darkened), no delaminations, no polazrizations lost.

we did it in some rare cases where glacier lenses took us.
