How to mount lens in Ted Lapidus frame?

I have a Ted Lapidus frame, the one that looks kind of like Bamboo but white. The lens has a metal rim around it which is then mounted into the plastic frame. The metal rim has no screw and is solid all the way around. How do you dismount and mount a new lens in the rim?

A picture might be more helpful but if you have a solid metal rim the only thing you can do is size carefully and pop it in. Won't work with thick a thick Rx but it is doable. It may be that that frame was not manufactured to be RXable.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

If it is the one from years ago, I took the metal insert out and mounted lenses to that then reinserted. You just have to be very careful that the lens is not too big or you will never get it in. PIA...Good luck!

    Ted Lapidus frame

I got one to come out, very tight fit. They actually have a pretty thick -Rx in them. I guess just tight tolerance here when fitting. I've never seen this one before. Thanks to all for your replies.

When I have a problem frame like that it's good to use Trivex lenses because you don't have to worry about chipping.
