blue/purple spots, only visible in bright conditions

Does anyone have any opinion on what i may be dealing with here..? I have a D.O. reporting lots of small blue/purple dots on 2 pairs of lenses, both with a "blue protect" coating on. Is this something caused by patient use? reported within 2 weeks of dispense.

Looks like you made this post without having seen these lenses yet, since they were dispensed.

All blue blocking coating have a residual color to them -some more purple, some more blue, whereas regular anti-reflective will be more green and pink. In my experience- in just the right lighting, there can be blue and/ or purple dots seen in the peripheral view. This has only been noticeable to me during night driving but others notice it more. We are in a habit of always showing examples before upgrading AR to a blue blocker and have taken people out of the blue if they find it too distracting.

So all in all it sounds like this person just needs to be restyled. Nothing out of the norm. That being said, the glasses should be thoroughly inspected to make sure it is not due to a defective coating, but simply that the patient doesn't like the cosmetics.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Thanks for Input, Will wait and see when lenses get back to me, I didn't want to accuse a patient of misuse if the fault was in production.
