Doctors associated with LC dropping EM

I was informed yesterday that the doctor's office located adjacent to (not owned by) LensCrafters is no longer accepting Eyemed.

I had figured that there was some sort of contract that would have made them take it for getting that space, but I guess they truly are independent from LC.

It probably won't make much of a difference for my practice since we already get patients from their office and vice versa with the doctor located next to us, but I wonder if this is more common than perceived or possibly the start to a new trend?

Cold call to one near us said they take it.

Maybe call one near you before we assume this is happening more than just one place?

I didn't even think it possible until word got around. OB is my resource for whether it is a fluke or the norm. True, this is the lazy method but most people on here seem to be indulgent in opti-gossip.
