Luxexcel has developed and is commercializing 3D print solutions for ophthalmic lenses. Luxexcel is currently the only company in the world offering 3D printing for ophthalmic lenses. The company has several VisionPlatforms installed across Europe and North America and will be installing several more in the foreseeable future. Our head office for our NA operations is in the greater Atlanta area, in Alpharetta GA. The company has additional operations in Belgium and the Netherlands.

We are currently searching for an individual who can help Luxexcel build its business in North America.
This person will have to travel extensively to visit current and potential customers.
A strong network within the Ophthalmic lab space, build during the past 10 years is a requirement.
The person should have experience in dealing with highly innovative technology, possess well developed commercial skills and a drive to make the impossible, possible.

Job description

· Commercialize the ophthalmic VisionPlatform for 3Dprinting of ophthalmic lenses.
· Identify potential customers and pro-actively engage with them
· Manage existing customers relationships on commercial, technical and operational topics
· Participate in trade shows and customer events across North America
· As part of the worldwide commercial team, contribute to the global commercial plan and provide inputs on product development roadmaps, distribution strategy and marketing efforts

Skills and profile

· A college degree in a relevant field
· Ophthalmic market professional with at least 10 years’ experience in a lab environment
· Strong knowledge of ophthalmic products, customer requirements and lens processing
· Able to work in a driven team while confident enough to execute a project from start to finish
· Previously held commercial responsibility for sales to ophthalmic labs, preferably for complex systems
· Strong social skills
· Self-motivated
· Willing and able to travel extensively
· Based in the Atlanta area (Alpharetta) or willing to relocate.
