Will a mirror coating affect transition lenses?

I'm throwing together a tinted/transition/mirrored lens for a customer. I'm just wondering if the mirror coat will prevent the transitions from working.

Only slightly. I tried them on several Drivewears and photochromics. They both darkened up, though not as much as non coated ones. However, I don’t notice much of a difference when wearing them.
One caveat, I wouldn’t tint them. It may affect adhesion.

If whatever light rays activate the transition tinting process, are reflected by your mirror, the lenses will not tint properly.

Did a patient requested Xtra Active with a Blue Flash. Worked out pretty well I think. He ultimately intended to use them for snow activity.
