    What are they thinking?

Holy crap! Some pencil necked geek graduate student living in his parents cellar figured out a way to score some "guvment" money and came out of his "safe space" to save the environment. I wonder what that study cost us taxpayers. And no photos of some lobstah with a contact lens stuck in his gills.

Well you see, the graduate student obviously doesn't wear contacts, he must wear glasses. His study is probably completely biased towards CL wearers. "Currently, manufacturers do not provide consumers with any information on the best environmentally friendly way to dispose of contact lenses after use." I wonder what he considers this...http://www.bausch.com/our-company/one-by-one-recycling. Just one example

The real environmental damage is the waste of fresh water.

Kinda reminds me of the hullabaloo over plastic straws (from Starbucks)... What about the cups? Let's outlaw them. C'mon millennials, bring you coffee from home in a thermos. And the plastic forks and spoons?

I went to a place that served cardboard straws recently. Needed a new cardboard straw every 10 minutes because it got soggy.

This made me think of the new commercial for Twizzler straws! Being from Hershey, I thought it was great!

The product is fine, but some of the users need an education. Maybe a simple "Do Not Flush" on the I&R handout.

                            I don't think I've used a straw since I was age 17.
