    Metal, wraparound safety glasses

Have a patient who is in need of a pair of metal-rim, wraparound safety goggles for work. He's a vet and had his nose broken during his time in service and can't do zyl for fitting/comfort reasons, and currently wears non-RX sunglasses with nosepads comfortably. All of our safety frames are Wiley-X and all zyl, so I need some options for him. Preferably high wrap (they'll be plano), heavy duty (patient admittedly is prone to beating them up on the job), nosepads, and, if possible, preferably with sun lenses in them so I don't have to go through the extra lead-time of making a custom pair. IIRC from my time selling Uvex they're not as sturdy as necessary for this patient, so, some options would be much appreciated.

My first thought is if it could be done, and pass ANSI safety regulation impact standards you and I both know it would have been done by now. That being said 3M or Hoya or whatever it is known by these days had some semi wrap metal frames, but the lenses never wrap 8 base or more because of the high impact test. Could it be done? Maybe, probably definitely with trivex and a 6 axis shelf bevel and a properly designed frame. I'm pretty sure wiley tried and "failed"

How about a Hudson ST-4? I'm not really a fan of the frame but it seems to meet your requirements. We sell them infrequently but when we do, people tend to be pleased with them. Tough, 8-base, metal, nose-pads.

The vet should also be wearing a goggle or full face shield while performing surgical procedures or any procedure where he may come into contact with animal body fluids.

My guess is the other kind of vet. OP asked for sunglass lenses. I could be totally wrong though. If so, I would agree with need for a goggle.
