The name of the company is Waldo and yes it's a direct competitor to Hubble, and their material is about as old but is still an active material, here a link to their page:

They use etafilcon A, which is the same material as the Acuvue 2, Acuvue 1 Day Moist, and Acuvue Define (plus several more discontinued Acuvue lenses including the original Acuvue Disposable contact lenses)
Just wanted to get the warning out as their US website is not yet up, but has been registered according the Invision article.
