Citroën launches the first glasses that restore the taste for travel

The long-awaited summer holidays – and long summer holiday journeys – are just around the corner. But with more time and opportunities to read on their smartphones or tablets, children and adults alike are afflicted by motion sickness. Over 30 million people in Europe suffer from chronic travel sickness. In response, Citroën, a brand dedicated to comfort, is presenting SEETROËN, the first glasses to eliminate motion sickness. The principle of the SEETROËN glasses is simple. They contain a coloured liquid that recreates the horizon line to resolve conflict between the senses.

Citroen is an acquired taste. As was the SAAB. Love both cars with their quirks. Glasses? Jury is out on that one, though.

Interesting concept. I get really bad vertigo, but I can't see myself wearing a pair of those on a flight to Disney. I'll stick to my friend, Zofran, thanks!

Very interesting concept. I would argue that these aren't really eyeglasses per se as they have no lenses.

I found this part to be very well thought out.

I also found it interesting that they developed them for use on boats but don't seem to touch on that at all in the marketing. Maybe they don't think that as profitable as current marketing, but I worked along side a whale watching company who could have sold those daily!

Do not forget that "Seetroen" is a promotion by the Citroen Car Company in France who came out with the first front wheel drive, or so I thought all my life.......................

However, the germans can say that Auto Union that would become the very famous AUDI had started a year before with the UW after buying back DKW that were the first in the world to mass-produce a FWD car with their F2 since 1931 bringing this technology to the masses just a few years before Citroen did.

However we still all learn when we are getting older.
